Jagriti Child and Youth Concern Nepal (Jcycn) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit social organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of children and youth. Since its foundation, Jcycn has been working on gender equality, social inclusion, community resilience, and nutrition-friendly local governance.
As part of our efforts, Jcycn produces two video podcast series: “Sakchhin Chhori” Season V (minimum 8 episodes) and “Kurakani: Khanpan ani Aanibani” Season III (at least 5 episodes). We invite like-minded companies working in similar sectors to submit their technical proposals (including a detailed plan and methodology) and quotations with a breakdown of costs for these projects.

Objectives for Producing these Podcasts
- For “Sakchhin Chhori” Season V:

- Inspire girls and help them realize their equal strength compared to boys.
- Share best practices from individual girl champions and girls’ rights activists on a national platform.
- Highlight inspiring stories of girls from the community at the national level.
- For “Kurakani: Khanpan ani Anibani” Season III:
- Promote the importance of quality and nutritious food choices, with a focus on traditional foods.
- Provide valuable information on the specific nutritional needs of pregnant women and children, ensuring their well-being and optimal development.
- Foster mindful eating practices, cultivate a positive attitude towards food, and promote healthy eating behaviors that support overall well-being.
- Explore the connection between maintaining a healthy kitchen environment, fostering happiness, and potentially reducing healthcare costs.
- Feature thematic experts, nutritionists, healthcare professionals, and policymakers sharing their knowledge and experiences.

- Include discussions on constitutional provisions, frameworks, practices, impacts, gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
- Develop short profiles of guests depicting their journey to success.
- Ensure high-quality production with professional video shooting and editing, incorporating infographics and visuals.
- Provide English subtitles and sign language for broader accessibility.
- Develop a promotional strategy using teasers, and social media to enhance episode visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate with guests, experts, and stakeholders for smooth planning and execution.
- Ensure high-quality production standards with professional video shooting and editing.

For Kurakani: Khanpan Ani Aanibani
- Develop content promoting quality and nutritious food choices, emphasizing traditional foods’ nutritional value and sustainability.
- Cover specific nutritional needs of pregnant women and children for their well-being and development.
- Explore mindful eating practices and their role in fostering healthy eating behaviors and reducing healthcare costs.
- Feature experts, including nutritionists, healthcare professionals, and policymakers, to share insights and best practices.
- Conduct interviews with guests to discuss the nutritional benefits and cultural significance of traditional foods, including local government representatives as policymakers.
- Ensure high-quality production with professional video shooting and editing, incorporating infographics and visuals.

Qualification and Experience Required:
- Proven track record of 5+ years in producing high-quality television content and podcasts focused on gender, public policy, community impacts, and nutrition-friendly local governance.
- Proficiency in professional video shooting, editing, motion graphics, subtitles, and sign language.
- Understanding of constitutional provisions, policy frameworks, and gender empowerment programs.
- Experience in gender equality, nutrition-friendly public finance management, and citizen engagement initiatives.
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders for content development and dissemination.
- Experience in successful promotional strategies and social media campaigns.
- PAN/VAT, Tax Clearance Certificate, Organizational Profile, and samples of previous work required.
Proposal Review/Scoring Criteria:
- Previous works, technical and financial proposals.
- Value for money, quality of service, and reasonableness of costs.
- Personnel allocation, daily rates, taxes, and other applicable costs.
